Training

Strong institutions require well-trained staff, adapting to the changing needs of their work and their professional environment.

Furthermore, the training needs in development and conservation work are ever expanding and range across a variety of skills, from conservation biology, to business planning, to advocacy and communication.

EDG reviews training needs and conducts training courses and events for companies, governments and NGOs.  We have done this for Government agencies (India, Kenya, Eritrea, Botswana, Namibia), regional bodies (south east Asia), international NGOs (Jersey) and companies (Marathon Oil, for example).
