As more and more companies, particularly those with a global reach, are giving increasing attention to their impact on and responsibility to the social and natural environment in which they are operating, so there is an increasing need for The Environment and Development Group’s specialised expertise.

For a variety of reasons, mutually reinforcing, close partnerships have developed in recent years between some major international corporations and international conservation NGOs.  Since EDG neither campaigns nor fund-raises on its own account, it is well placed to give impartial advice, conduct independent audits and evaluations and provide other neutral services to corporate clients in this domain.
