Kenya — Development of Five-year Investment Programme for Kenya Wildlife Service (ODA/World Bank; 1990-1991)

Kenya Wildlife Service invited EDG to formulate a comprehensive development strategy for the development of Kenya's wildlife sector over a five-year period, and to provide detailed recommendations for technical and financial support. 

This led to the definition of a $143 million programme — the most substantial programme of donor support ever devised for an African wildlife department. One member of the EDG team was subsequently seconded, through ODA, to KWS as its Policy and Planning Advisor, from 1991 to 1994.
